Robert Brown talks about a very successful real estate month. In April 2010 91 homes sold in Cache Valley Utah, which is up from 71 in April of 2009. Also the original list price to sold price ratio is %94, a nice increase from %93 which is where it was for the first quarter of 2010. The number of homes on the market is down to about 785, this is a good thing and we are seeing a more balanced market now. Today is April 30th 2010 the last day to get a home under contract to qualify for the $8,000 first time home buyer credit of the $6,500 move up home buyer tax credit. In the past two weeks 95 homes went under contract which is twice the normal rate. The homes on market in Cache Valley went from 820 on Monday to 795 today.
